Holiday Basics

With the weather getting colder and December upon us it really is starting to feel more like Christmas. I’ve spend the last few days trying to get my house together and decorated for the best time of the year. I found some great basics that will give you a good start to your Christmas decorating.

First thing is first….if you don’t have a tree yet don’t worry you are completely normal like me! We’ve had real trees and fake trees and what works best in our house is fake trees.

8 foot Flocked tree- $220 on

6.5 Balsam Hill Spruce Tree- $200 on

7 foot tree with pinecones-$129 on

There are so many different themes on decorating a Christmas tree. We keep it traditional and classic so we don’t have to spend so much on decorations each year. We stick with a lot of reds and golds. We do put garland up around our fireplace and throughout the house.

Juniper pine C-$60 on*These are non lit*

Carolina Pine Christmas Garland -$102 on (*These are pre lit*)

We put lights all around our tree, outside on the house, and anywhere I can hang them.

Small Snowflake lights-$17 on

100 Count clear white 33ft-$32 on

I typically just put a wreath on our front door and back door, but I have seen a lot of really cute ideas on hanging them on inside doors as well throughout the house.

Berry Wreath-$70 on

Gold and red with pinecones-$65 on
