Parenting is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, and it’s also tiring and exhausting. If you’re a mom, your world will revolve around on your kids. There will come the time that you’ll be worrying everyday about your kids. You are on duty 24 hours, no weekends off or sick days. But, never forget about neglect about yourself; your health.
So how do you stay happy- and healthy- when you’re struggling to manage it all and be the best mom? Follow these steps!

HAVE TIME FOR YOURSELF. Well, after a long week of duty as a wife, and as a mother, you deserve a break. Have you been outside? Fresh air, sunlight and nature are believed to be critical mood enhancer for a mom. Go give yourself a facial or simply take a long hot bath. Concentrating on just you — regardless of the possibility that just for a short time — can truly help you stay calm amid a generally busy life.

GET MOVING. Regular exercise is better than a nap for boosting energy levels. So, don’t let your workout get pushed off. But constant reminders to fit an hour of activity into consistently can be overwhelming. Disregard the ideal and go for what you can do. Schedule your exercise first thing in the morning, because it may help you stick on a regular routine.

DON’T SKIP BREAKFAST AND EAT REGULARLY. You’re vigilant about making sure your kids get a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner. But what about you? Providing your mind and body the nourishment it needs can increase your energy, improve your mood, helps you to sleep better and reduces stress. Always eat fruits, vegetables and whole grains and, if possible, eat organic.

KEEP YOUR BLOOD SUGAR STEADY. Blood sugar can rise after drinking coffee — even black coffee with zero calories. You feel drained. You get a sweet treat or a soda for a snappy sugar rush. The vitality burst goes on for a brief while and after that you crash, feeling more drained than some time recently. Sound familiar? Wild fluctuations in your glucose can be harsh on your energy level. Rather, eat regular small snacks to continue a level.

GET ENOUGH SLEEP. Getting satisfactory sleep is essential to your well-being, as well as boosting your mood, enhances creativity, decreases stress and makes it less demanding to lose pounds. If you need to rise right on time for work or to get the children off to class, take a stab at going to bed only 30 minutes before — that 30 minutes could have a gigantic effect in your day and your happiness.

SPEND ONE-ON-ONE TIME WITH YOUR KIDS. Children need to feel special from their parents. If you have more than one kid, try to spend through one-on-one time with each of them. Will your kid love the attention, as well as give you colossal happiness. Whether you have one kid or five, make sure you have exceptional “mom and me” time with your children.

Negativity can bleed into many aspects of our lives, preventing us from reaching our full potential and hindering our overall happiness. Change your thinking from negative to positive and you can change your life!
